Moving Day!

No, not to a new apartment, but thanks for the consideration and excitement. I will be returning to that "temporary" apartment. :) While I am ready to be back in living quarters of my own, I'm not excited about being without Internet. How spoiled do I sound? Just ready to settle in and make a place my own. At this point Internet=my own apartment. There continue to be leads and the search is ongoing. As I approach the two month mark, this is just one of the many parts of the roller-coaster. It is also one of the many ways God has shown Himself sovereign and sustaining. Considering all that I have here, Internet is merely trivial.

Most days I have songs running through my head. Recently it has been that old school 4 Him song that goes, "this roller coaster ride of life...lifts you up and lets you down...spins you round and round and round." (And, they echo each other and repeat, it's a classic!) But, it's true, and we're never promised ease and luxury. We are given hope, that life "is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond comparison...the things that are unseen are eternal." I often fail to remember that those who knew Him most intimately also suffered most severely.

So, we take heart and press on to know Him who creates, redeems, and sanctifies. Not for what this world offers, but that the glory of the Lord might fill the earth and we might live in sweet fellowship.
