ANOTHER all transportation strike that began on Nov 13 finished today, Nov 23. I learned that these people continue to get paid while they strike, thus explaining why they strike so often.

But, I am currently watching Arkansas vs. LSU LIVE. Well, mine may be a few minutes after yours, just means the game will last a little longer here.

A weekend away in English! It was actually quite strange to be in an English speaking environment. I couldn't think in English! But, it was nice to be surrounded by the language of my heart. It was also a refreshing time with friends.

A Rat Ate My Cocoa

It's true. I almost don't believe it myself. After waiting for my post office friend to find this box, having to leave and return in one hour, Mr. Post-Man emerged with a grim smile and a mangled box. "What could have happened?" I wondered as a walked back to my apartment. Only to realize that the only possibility is that somewhere a rat decided that he wanted a taste of that chocolate he smelled. He got one...
